RDM
RDM is a historic dry dock shipyard in Rotterdam, the Rotterdamse Droogdok Maatschappij. Nowadays the complex functions as a hub for innovative companies and technology education. RDM forms partnerships with the Port of Rotterdam Authority, several business and knowledge partnergroups and educational institutions. The premises houses high-quality test facilities and field labs, which makes it the perfect environment for innovative students, startups and entrepreneurs in the maritime and offshore sector to develop technologies for the future. The RDM is an innovative hub for over 60 companies in the field of digitalization of product and transportation chains, offshore wind and hydrogen solutions. Of course this beacon of future solutions attracts a big audience of interested specialists from all over the world.
Challenge
The website we were asked to develop was to be a replacement for an existing website. The logo and corporate identity were already defined. The website was to function within the structure of companies and organizations that form a web of Rotterdam development partnerships.
It was crucial that the website would be responsive and fast loading. The website was to be equipped with an easy to use content management system.
Solution
We designed and developed a new website from scratch within the given range of design possibilities. To deliver cutting edge pagespeed, we developed the website on a Strapi framework.
