Inizio Moeder & Kind (Mother & Child) is a webshop that offers a complete package of clothing and necessities for expecting women, new mothers and babies.
Every season they purchase their brands themselves and determine a beautiful style for the coming season. Handpicked quality, following the latest trends and expert advice. From clothes to plushes, books, pacifiers and maternity packages.
Challenge
Make a webshop with a wide range of different products and different categories, all with different specifications and sizes, that can be filtered and are updated in the inventory to be used on- and offline.
The website should have the same appeal the physical store has and should breathe the expertise and customer service you get when you walk into the real world shop.
Solution
The webshop is built in Wordpress and WooCommerce, with a custom implementation of third party software for the connection to the checkout system, so that inventory in the store and online is always up to date.
Because the shop owner itself takes care of the product input, it is mandatory to have a simple but solid Content Management System that uses common functionalities.
